I'd be interested in doing an entirely vocal set. It would just be myself with some electronics - maybe a laptop, a couple of loop machines, two kaos pads (and possibly a vocoder). Ideally I would like to try and recreate some of my own songs in a live setting. This is perfectly possible because I've done it before. The songs are completely a cappella - so I would use loop machines and samplers to build up some interesting layers/textures and perform my songs over the top. I would also like to persue a live improvisation - time permitting. The material (and any improvisation) will hopefully feature unusual vocalisations and sounds not normally associated with singing alongside more 'conventional' singing techniques. There will also be room for some vocal percussion effects and 'beatboxing'. The material will explore the full range of the voice (and falsetto), and hopefully use the voice like it has never been used before.
