mO is very pleased to announce the second of our special events at Shoreditch Town Hall. Shoreditch Town Hall is currently developing a pilot programme of new performance work, across its many beautiful spaces, to showcase new and emerging artists across performance, dance and music. mO programmes include exploratory work by new and emerging artists alongside special guests performing some of our latest Calls for Scores, as well as curiosities and new work from their own repertoire.

Strung Out is our 'strings of any kind' night ...with music by Horses Brawl, Phil Maguire, Steve Reich, Laurence Crane, John Cage, Elo Masing, Guillaume Viltard and MAN.

mO @ Ulverston Music Festival 2012 29th June, 1pm Ulverston Parish Church Young Artists Series
We're very pleased to have our mO Composers' Call within this year's Festival, which is directed by pianist Tony Hewitt. Laurence Orborn's solo cello piece Pteranodon has been selected by our associated composers Duncan MacLeod, Kerry Andrew and cellist Gabriella Swallow. Premiered at Ulverston Music Festival in Cumbria this Friday, by Michael Petrov, (Guildhall School of Music and Drama). A second performance will take place as part of mO Series 3 in London at Shoreditch Town Hall.
