Jeff Cloke is a sound artist working in the live/experimental/improv field. He could describe his laptop setup, and how he came to be where he is musically, but there is no need; he has been involved with exploratory music since the 1960s, and these days he simply creates sounds that he enjoys listening to.
Reson8 is his laptop setup for live sampling and studio production, with Ableton Live as the platform for some unique spectral processing. Studio tracks are generally slow-moving, organic, gentle and harmonically rich with a touch of noise!
His main activity is live performance; solo or with other musicians, artists and dancers using Reson8.
Jeff was born in Torquay, but now lives in North London with his partner, Christine.
